About Me

Welcome to my world of crafting! My name is Jules and I live near the beautiful market town of Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk with my crazy cockerpoo, Barney.

I had never been particularly arty or crafty in my younger years. I was more likely to be out and about with my horses and dogs than picking up a paintbrush or a pair of scissors. However, around 2008, having given up horses and with no particular hobby to fill my spare time, I started making Christmas cards for my family and friends. I then quickly became passionate about all things papercraft.

Whether I am designing fun and unique birthday cards or creating beautiful memory albums, I embrace a variety of techniques using watercolours, inks, acrylics and stamping. Most of my designs are in one of two styles - vintage botanical/grunge or quirky and humorous, as can be seen from the shop categories. However, I don't like to limit myself and occasionally I can be found venturing into other styles (or even crafts).

I left my office job as a project manager in March 2026 and am now semi-retired so I have more time for creating. With this, I also have more finished makes so decided to start this website as somewhere to find homes for some of those makes.

I truly believe that crafting is for everyone — you just need to discover your unique niche!
